Tesoro Anacortes Refinery Fire: Today, April 2, 2010, Anacortes refinery fire was started at about 12:30 am, it has been mentioned by the sources that three people died and four were seriously injured. Anacortes refinery is located in Washington, the blaze struck at the refinery of Tesco Corporation which produces more than 120,000 barrel oil every day. Company officials told that fire happened at the unit where the workers were doing the maintenance work, it was snuffed out in around one and half hours.



Harborview Medical Center’s orator, Susan Gregg Hanson informed that four workers arrived at the hospital with several burns on their bodies. She also said that there were two male workers and two female employees who were hospitalized due to severe injuries.



Company officials said that the affected units were closed down; however they did not provide the details of other units.
