New CEO of MasterCard 2010: India’s Ajay Banga 50 year old becomes a new President and Chief Executive Officer of MasterCard, Washington. Firstly Robert W. Selander was MasterCard’s CEO since March 1997. On April 13, 2010 the company MasterCard announced that Ajay Banga is new CEO of company from July 1, 2010. MasterCard said that now Ajay Banga also becomes a board of director.



He has born in Pune, Maharashtra. He finished his schooling in Delhi and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. His Harbhajan Singh Banga who is a army officer (retd.).
He started his career with the Nestle in 1981, after 13 years he joined Pepsico. After that he joined Citigroup from 1996. Now he is selected for CEO of MasterCard.
