The first round was televised on ESPN2 while second and third rounds were televised on NBA TV and ESPNU. Tina Charles helped University of Connecticut to win in NCAA title last Tuesday night and she selected for Connecticut Sun as she become a No.1 pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft.

The Minnesota Lynx picked Monica Wright (No.2) from the University of Virginia and Kelsey Griffin (No.3) from the University of Nebraska. Kelsey Griffin was traded to the sun.
