Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport last February 13 with the Rahat were arrested on keeping worth $ 124 000 undeclared foreign currency.
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials questioned him for more than a week after his passport was returned. DRI Rahat and his manager both fined Rs 15-15 lakh.
Rahat at a press conference in Lahore, said that "it's my right to get back the seized amount. It can not take from me, 'I am taking legal advice on this issue. Money to get back to the legal process will be decided according to the state."
Rahat also said that "A fine of Rs 15 lakh is I filled from my pocket. It was a case of customs legislation which I did not know before. "
