The Sensex opened 58 points Down

SENSEXSnapping a two-day rising trend, the Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex 58 points in early trading today, fell to take advantage.

The 30-share barometer, which had scored 427 in the past two seasons, to 18390.78 points fell 58.35 points. Wide-based National Stock Exchange's Nifty fell 12.70 points to 5514.05 points.

SENSEXBrokers said profit booking by investors after two days of gains mainly influenced the trading sentiment.Sale of shares was limited to more realty and auto sectors, he added.
