On tuesday underworld mafia don Dawood Ibrahim's brother named Iqbal kaskar was shot at in mumbai. Kaskar's driver is also shot dead in the attack while kaskar escaped unhurt. Initial reports said, two persons came on foot at Dawood's residence at Pakmudia Street in south Mumbai and fired on Iqbal and his driver Aarif, killing the latter.

"Shetty, a self-proclaimed Hindu don, could be wanting to position himself as the main rival of the Dawood gang which is perceived as anti-national," a senior official said.
