Chord Overstreet Lands Guest Role on 'The Middle'

Turns out we don't have to wait that long to see Chord Overstreet on our TVs again: the former Glee star has landed a guest role on ABC's The Middle. Zap2it reports that Overstreet will guest star as Ralph Wickerson, Brick's teacher in fourth grade who gets a little too involved in the kid's life -- and to be exact, his parents' ways of raising him.

He's not exactly into Frankie and Mike's methods. Overstreet was, of course, last seen in the second season of Glee, appearing as New Directions member Sam Evans, he of Quinn's heart and Santana's "Trouty Mouth". He left the show at the end of the second season despite being widely expected to be promoted to regular in the upcoming third.

Overstreet's The Middle episode is expected to air on ABC on September 28. Set a reminder for when your favorite show returns this fall with the NEW BuddyTV Guide App for iPhone. You'll never miss another episode, get recommendations and surf Netflix. Coming soon to Android.
