Kangna Ranaut to learn how to fly

It's common to hear about actors learning something new for a part in the movies. Like Vivek Oberoi training to fly for his anti-hero character in the forthcoming Krrish. Now, Kangna Ranaut wants to learn to fly a plane, but not for any role in any movie in the near future.

Her pilot brother, apparently, has inspired her to pursue this new thrill. According to our source, "Kangna's brother Akshat, who's training at a flying school in New Zealand, was going to be in Los Angeles around the same time as the actress (who had to attend an event there).

Since he was planning a flight to complete his hours, he suggested she join him." In control Ranaut siblings were flying high in the air, Kangna couldn't stop expressing the thrill she was feeling. Our source adds, "When Akshat let her handle the controls along with him for a few seconds, she was hooked. After their landing, Kangna told her brother she was keen to learn flying, and wanted him to guide her on the same." However, with her busy date diary, it remains to be seen how Kangna finds time to fulfill this 'soaring' dream.

All set for makeover: Prachi Desai

Tired of played sedate, butter-won't-melt-in-the-mouth roles Prachi Desai is all set to loosen up and let her hair down. For Rohit Shetty's 'Bol Bachchan', she teams up with Abhishek Bachchan and is going into the fun zone big time. 'I have a sober image and I am proud of it.

I wouldn't want to exchange that image just to be considered sexy. Even when I got my big Bollywood break in 'Rock On' and then in 'Life Partner' I played sweet goody goody roles. But now in my forthcoming films I am all set for a makeover.

I am ready to do what the script requires,' said Prachi. The 22-year-old, who started her career with Ekta Kapoor's popular television show 'Kasamh Se' where she played a small town girl, is ready for a complete makeover in Mahesh Bhatts' 'Informer' as well. 'But I've my inbuilt censor which stops me from doing certain things.

I won't go beyond the limits I've sent for myself. I am young and a girl of today. But so far whether on television or in films, I've played extremely inhibited conservative girls far older than I actually am. That will change now. I'm playing my own age and that too with leading men closer to my age,' she said. About opting out of two South Indian films at the last minute Prachi said: 'What can I do? It was a genuine dates problem in one case. As for the other film, nothing had been finalized, no dates nothing. 'If filmmakers want to use my name for publicity what can I do?

It hasn't been easy for me to make the transition from television to cinema. I had to prove myself doubly hard. And now if people want to spoil it for me,what can I say? Except that I wish them well.' You wonder if Ekta Kapoor is proud of her blue-eyed girl and Prachi shoots back saying, 'I hope she is!' Asked her about her relationship status with Ekta, and Prachi turns diplomatic.

'So much has been said about our soured friendship. But the fact is, we are still the same. Nothing has changed,' said the actress who featured in Ekta's production venture 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai'.

Not A Love Story Movie Review

Anusha Chawla (Mahie Gill), leaves hometown Chandigarh and boyfriend Robin (Deepak Dobriyal) and comes to Mumbai, chasing her dreams to become an actress. She gets a break with the help of a casting agent, Ashish and brings him home one night.

But the night turns out to be a nightmare, as Robin lands up in Mumbai and kills Ashish in a fit of fury and jealousy. A gruesome tale, the story begins with Anusha (mahie) who wants to become an actress. She comes to Mumbai after convincing her obsessive boyfriend Robin (deepak) and starts looking for a break. She finally gets one with the help of one Ashish (ajay gehi).

Anusha is on cloud nine and so is Robin. While she goes to celebrate with Ashish and friends, Robin decides to surprise her the next morning. However, after the party, Ashish gets drunk and stays at Anusha's place. In this process, both get close.

The next morning Robin arrives and understanding what happened, he kills Ashish in blind anger. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. Based on the headline-grabbing case of Kannada actor Maria Susairaj, her boyfriend Jerome Matthew and the murdered television executive Neeraj Grover, Not A Love Story is a startling film.

Startling, because it captures the nasty, brutal side of seemingly normal and nice people who sometimes, see nothing amiss in the most heinous of crimes. The casualness with which Anusha and Robin try to cover the tracks of their crime, dispose off the body of the victim, make love even while he lies dead and bloodied in the next room fills you with chill and dread.

The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was classy, the narrative was gripping. The dialogues were reasonable, the script was alright while the screenplay was tight. Background score was great and two songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was the major highlight. Editing was crisp.

Costumes were natural while the art department was suiting the moods. Deepak Dobriyal comes up with the right kind of act and fits his role aptly. Mahie Gill was the show stealer, she oozes great sex appeal and has given a gripping performance. Ajay Gehi was brief but good.

Zakir Hussain was fabulous, he needs to get more chances. Darshan Jariwala was decent. Neil Bhoopalam was natural, Prabhjot Sandhu was moderate. The others did their bit as required. The film is basically an inspiration from the Neeraj Grover murder case but then the makers have not delved much into that subject. While the first half goes off in a mild manner, the heat builds before the interval. The second half is quite gripping and it comes up with good intensity.

The film shines due to its exceptional technical values and narrative. However, the subject is very dangerous and it could affect weak minds. At the box office, the film has strong chances of commercial success given the cost of its making.

Who says models can't act?

Whoever thought models just know how to flaunt their pretty faces and svelte figures, the current crop of Bollywood leading ladies are here to dispel your notion! From Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen to Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif - these top rung actresses have proved time and again that models can indeed act!

Of course, there have been male models like John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Rahul Dev, Arjan Bajwa and Rajneesh Duggal, who made a successful transition from the ramp to the big screen. But the women outnumber them and have garnered more success in the glitzy and glamourous Hindi film industry. In the 1970s, Zeenat Aman shifted from the ramp to the silver screen, setting the trend for many young girls.

Even Juhi Chawla followed in her footsteps and made it big in Bollywood. Here's a list of some of the present-day actresses, who made a name in the modelling world and are blazing a trail in the film industry. Aishwarya Rai: Her's is quite a fairytale. After being crowned Miss World in 1994, she worked in Tamil films, moved to Bollywood and earned international fame through film projects and appearances at prestigious events across the shores.

Counted among the world's most beautiful women, Aishwarya has proved her acting mettle in films like "Taal", "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Devdas", "Guru" and "Guzaarish". In 2009, she was given the Padmi Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour, for her contribution to cinema. Priyanka Chopra: At 29, Priyanka is a former Miss World, has featured in over two dozen films, is a National award winner and is now ready to break musical grounds internationally.

One of the most versatile actresses, her work has been appreciated in films like "Fashion", "Dostana", "Kaminey" and "Saat Khoon Maaf". She features in some of the most awaited films - "RA.One", "Don 2: The Chase Continues" and the remake of "Agneepath". Katrina Kaif: Hits after hits -- that's Katrina for you. After "Boom", which bombed at box office, this 27-year-old, who started as a model in London at the age of 14, has seen happy times in tinsel town.

With six back-to-back hits -- "Namastey London", "Apne", "Partner", "Welcome", "Race" and "Singh Is Kinng" - this 'Sheila' girl proved her critics wrong and followed up her success with "Raajneeti" and more recently, "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara".

Deepika Padukone: A successful model, Deepika bagged a dream debut in "Om Shanti Om" opposite Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan. Her subsequent report card was average, with projects like "Bachna Ae Haseeno", "Chandni Chowk to China ", "Love Aaj Kal", "Housefull" and "Lafangey Parindey". She also turned experimental with a de- glam role in "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey".

She will soon be seen in Prakash Jha's "Aarakshan". Bipasha Basu: The dusky Bengali beauty, a former supermodel, has improved by leaps and bounds over a decade of her film journey. From "Ajnabee" in 2001 to the latest "Dum Maaro Dum", she has come a long way, thanks to projects like "Jism", "Raaz", "Corporate", "No Entry", "Dhoom 2", "Race" and others.

She is now going international with Roland Joffe's "Singularity". Dia Mirza: Dia has no major money spinners to her name, but she has films like "Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein", "Lage Raho Munnabhai", "Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd" and "Kurbaan" to her credit. Like Lara, she has now gone a step ahead and launched her own production company and is starring in its first project "Love Breakups Zindagi". Lara Dutta: A charming former Miss Universe, Lara won a Filmfare best female debut award for "Andaaz" in 2003. With not many hits in her kitty, Lara still managed to impress audiences with her performance in films like "Masti", "No Entry", "Partner" and "Housefull".

She also diversified into production with "Chalo Dilli" earlier this year, and is busy enjoying her mommy-to-be status nowadays. Neha Dhupia: Miss India Universe 2002, Neha doesn't have a quintessential Bollywood face and style, nor is her choice of films typically Bollywood. She may not have given super duper hits, but has won praises for films like "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum", "Shootout at Lokhandwala", "Ek Chalis Ki Last Local", "Mithya", "Singh Is Kingg" and "Dasvidaniya". In her latest release "Dear Friend Hitler", Neha plays Eva Braun, the longtime companion of German dictator Adolf Hitler.

I do not think it is important that the skin show. You do not have to take off their clothes to look glamorous. Personally I do not like to wear short dresses and movies I will not. Although I do agree that Bollywood is always pressure on you to do so. Especially when some Hiroinen Size zero is maintained. But I've already achieved success in the South, so I do not have to do it.

I like my first Bollywood film star Ajay Devgan is the Opposite. Despite its still on the back of my identity as South and Bollywood cinema, I will take some time to stand. So I'd continue to work in South cinema. Now I do not get more offers from Bollywood, but the South in the industry that offers a lot to me.

I started getting modeling offers since his college days, but I never thought about acting. I wanted to complete my MBA. Graduation was only after the entry into my films. I no godfather in the industry, so I have my own success. No. I am not interested to join the war.

"I am kalam" movie review and wallpaper

Jeb moon and stars Abhishek ray structure in terms of well-KK Sung by and makes a good listen. Next, the Shreya Chinese bhini, then composed by Abhishek, bubbling with enthusiasm for this kind of song and Shreya as she sings a little intoxicated with the sound is surprising. Here the combination of lyrics and music really do not expect to see a song, but it's the way it looks good.

Song, sung by Anushka Manchanda, the female version is a little more regularly and think differently from English to Hindi songs, and good. Anushka is a good part that does not overpower her voice devices.

Papon self (perhaps in his first Bollywood) made life such a waisi Papon sound is quite beautiful and promising once again as well as a musician is at the moment. Jiyein why I had already loved him, but this time he seemed more serious. Certainly more than one song is Protique Mojoomdar are positive.

Dholi Susmit Bose and Shiva is a living thing than life, and a rangoli number folk'ish think differently, like it out, like old songs, recorded in the recording room. But the song's lyrics are good and the song 'A' gives the real feel.

Shiva said baitho kaaga Dholi on flying a small, real sound track which is just a harmonium with the support it is almost unplugged.

The last track, the moon and stars are the children of Jeb version is a fine one.happened. Not bad. Overall, I am the President mixed with the musicians is a good album. Interestingly, the general run of songs to find album and songs like almost all songs, whether written or by which they are sung. I hope the film is equally good.

Education for All underlined the social message of the film, but not italic. The boy hero is left for joy Mayar plot without making heavy or didactic subject to underlying message.

With its gentle swagger and genuine smile brings a rare intelligence and humor to the film. National Awards, they have said? The boy deserves a lot more.

Some episodes of the film's clumsiness does not take away the internal heat and politely. Shorty statement Kalam and flow easily through the hopeless fantasy adventure - driven as well glides

An underprivileged child's world of emotion without mercy.

Last Shot 'Prince' and 'poor' in the same school bus with a journey to discover happiness. It is socialism. Abdul Kalam at the end of this utopian dream must be smiling. But then is not that what cinema

Does? Offer hope, create a dream world and the harsh reality of the outside world with a magical options exchange.

I have all of this Kalam. Forward to your sincere efforts in recent Stanley Chillar Party of the box and the same vision as the sweet-mature child should be seen in the world.
