2G scam promoter of Swan Telecom Shahid Balwa sent to Tihar jail

2G Scandal
Shahid Usman Balwa has been sent to Delhi's Tihar jail who is promoter Swan Telecom. That would be judicial custody till March 3. Balwa Investigation on February 8 by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was arrested in connection with the 2G spectrum scandal.

Swan Telecom, one of the beneficiaries of a 2G scam, a front company to be owned by Anil Ambani's Reliance Communications is charged.

Swan Telecom bagged 2G licences for 13 of the circles around the India in 2008. this Circles are included delhi and mumbai's area, for paltry Rs 1,537 Crore. Within months, the money the United Arab Emirates-based Etisalat has a 45% stake sold Rs.. 4,500 crore.
