Rahat Fateh Ali Khan fined

At Indira Gandhi International Airport in terms of keeping large amounts of undeclared foreign currency in Pakistani Sufi singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager have been fined Maaruaf.

Both have been fined Rs 10-10 lakh. At the same time both the 5-5 lakh Redemption fine is apply too. DRI before the Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager Maaruaf against were charged under FEMA and the Customs Act.

DRI the Indira Gandhi International Airport on February 13 both had stopped. They allegedly undeclared 1.24 million (Rs 60 lakh) were. According to official sources, the directorate has completed its investigation and decision to issue Customs Commissioner (Airport) is referred too.

Fines will be filling the two back to Pakistan. Event Manager Chitresh Srivastava and Mumbai against the two foreign exchange dealers will continue to investigate. Recovered will be confiscated foreign currency
