Lakme fashion Week visited by Students of IIFT SURAT

IIFT (International Institute of Fashion Technology) Surat Fashion students will participate in the premier fashion trade event of India. It is an event with a persistent focus on building relationships, creating opportunities, promoting excellence in quality and integrates the entire fashion industry.

Seasons ago, Swap nil among the first crop of GenNext designers to showcase their talent at the Lakme Fashion Week and has been a regular participant ever since. This time his show sponsored by the courier giant DHL, and the inspiration behind the collection is ‘speed’. 

After the successful visit LFW summer collection in March, IIFT Surat again had the opportunity to take their students to LFW Winter / Festive 2011, which will be held from August 16 to 21 August, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai Talking about synergizing fashion and photography for its collection of Tasveer, he said that he wanted to capture developments in the world of photography in a unique way. 

“It is a festive trousseau collection inspired by the photographs and the changing colors in the palette. It shows they develop palettes of photography from black and white to sepia, colorful digital,” he explains. IIFT Surat takes the plunge into this great event, so students will know if Couture is well known and upcoming designers. For that, we asked our students to submit a project report based on the profile of each designer will be present, and their experience with Lakme Fashion Week.
