While the data show Google's latest attempt at breaking into social networking started strongly, it may not mean the project is a long-term success. MySpace for the at least two years increased by 25 million unique visitors - Facebook or Twitter faster than. However, it has lost a lot of visitors in the past year, comScore data show.

The United States was more than 6 million unique visitors and 3.6 million more than India, data show

Canada and the UK more than 780,000 from just over 1 million unique visitors each 920.000 and Brazil, was in Germany. France and Taiwan each had around 500,000.

Google Inc's new social network has attracted 25 million users, making it the fastest website to reach that audience size, according to data released on Tuesday by comScore.

The Google+ service had 6.44 million visitors in the U.S., its biggest market, through July 24, said Andrew Lipsman, ComScore’s vice president for industry analysis, on a call hosted by Lou Kerner, an analyst at Wedbush Securities Inc. That was followed by India, with 3.62 million, ComScore said. The figures don’t include mobile usage.

Google+, started in late June, is the company’s latest effort to compete in social networking with Facebook, which has more than 750 million users. Google+, which lets people connect with and manage groups of friends, added about 5 million visitors in less than a week to reach about 25 million, according to Com Score.

Engagement on the site is also increasing, Lipsman said. The average number of days per week that U.S. visitors used the service rose 39 percent in the seven days ending July 17. For the week that ended July 24, usage rose 11 percent.

"It would be difficult to think of a number of websites, which achieved so much in so little time," says study author Andrew Lipsman.

"This means that Google has built a visitor base of more than 1 billion to develop, so it is obviously not possible to convert a large number of users of its new social tools -. Although it is still invite only, according to comScore the latest figures from the 82 percent increase last week 561 percent increase over figures for the two weeks before use.

While the U.S. is the largest market of 5.3 million users, India has 2.8 million users in second, followed by Britain (866,000) Canada (858,000) and Germany (706, 000).
