Ratnakar Shetty Runs For MCA Vice-President Ship

Cricket Board chief executive officer and the last World Cup tournament director, Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, has joined the race to get one of two vice presidents of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) elections set for his July 15.

Join Shetty quest to become a candidate backed by MCA vice president Sharad Pawar is Bal Mahaddalkar group Ashish Shela.

Dr PV Shetty Nitin Dalal and panel options to challenge the two common secretaries' posts during treatment Sawant is the treasurer of a candidate of their choice in the chair.

While Pawar has decided not to challenge to maintain his position as president of MCA, as unfit to do so by following the change in the status of his as a permanent residence in Mumbai, Baramati, the panel refrained from naming a candidate to contest the coveted post .
"
We decided on our panel today. It (the decision about the presidential candidates) to happen before the submission of nominations ends on 8 July," said Prof. Shetty PTI.

Among the candidates to secure panel places a 11-member governing body of former Mumbai Medium Pacer Pradeep Kasliwal.

This group is set to be candidates for the panel to support the former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar and former chief selector who is trying to become the first footballer to MCA after two decades-long rule of politicians and Pawar Manohar Joshi.
