ICC Test rankings

England, Ian Bell and Stuart Broad is an award-winning performance in the second test win in India a significant increase in the ICC rankings.

Bell, which is a 159-run knock by Andrew Strauss, helped the side to victory, is now ranked among the top five Test batsmen, and wide, who took a hat-trick at the end of the match and third-rounder status. Broad is also up to the seventh bowler in grades after his match with the row of eight.



Rahul Dravid has risen 11 places the latest International Cricket Council (ICC), the test site. He is one of the few Indian batsmen who have succeeded in continually series against England.

Just three India batsmen in the top 10, with Sachin Tendulkar (third), VVS Laxman (ninth) and Virender Sehwag (10). Dravid, who made a second consecutive Test match series of one hundred, has four seats in last week and is on the verge of breaking into the top 10

Trent Bridge, England, Ian Bell has broken into five after shooting a career high batting mark after his brilliant 159 against India.

Bell, who has registered his fourth century in six Test matches, has recorded a new career-high position and is only 16 points behind team-mate Jonathan Trott, who has slipped two places and the ranking to fourth place.


Matt Prior (21) Stuart wide (forty-fourth) and Tim Bresnan (common seventy-fifth) also achieved a new career as a high-ranking British 319-run victory that gave them a 2-0 coherent four-match series.
