By the report of Officers, they found defect in car’s accelerator pedal. But company hides this information. So, 1 Crore 64 Lakh dollars fine have been imposed on company.
According to Transportation Department, the documents show that, which were provided by company, the engineers of the company found defect in accelerator pedal in last year September.
Because of this defect in January this year company had taken back millions car. The company had taken back 23 lakh cars only from U.S.
Toyota has 2 weeks for the appeal against of this fine. The company said that they did not receive any order from Transportation Department.
