Reliance Entertainment has SINGHAM who published in 2000 screens worldwide on 22 July has recorded Rs 47.70 crores at the box office its opening weekend, and is the second highest opening of this year.
A successful actor-director duo Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn action-packed entertainer SINGHAM played Rs. 44.2 crores in India (Rs. 30.93 crores net) and Rs. 03.05 crores gross overseas.
SINGHAM has roared its way into the top 10 chart domestic opening weekends of all time and the 10-th of Rs. 30.93 crores net collections.
Sanjeev Shepherd, Managing Director, Reliance Entertainment, said: "SINGHAM is a great start off around the world film received an overwhelming response from the audience at the weekend, and hopes to continue its successful run worldwide in the coming weeks .."
