Raja's arrest will not affect relations with DMK: Congress

A RajaThe arrest of former communications minister Andimuthu Raja by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will not affect political ties to the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK), Congress Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said Wednesday. "This case should be investigated and inquiredproperly. Law takes its course and we will never get in the way of it. This will not affect relations with the DMK," Dwivedi told reporters in New Delhi.

A RajaThe DMK is a member of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA).

CBI Wednesday arrested Raja and two of his aides, RK Chandolia and Siddharth Behura, for 2G spectrum allocation scam.
