Anushka Sharma gets questioned by Custom Officials for 9 Hours

Band Baajaa Baaraat actress Anushka Sharma was detained at the airport by customs at the Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared goods worth Rs 45 lakhs will now be interrogated by Income Tax Officials on her assets on moday. A deputy director of income tax from the investigation wing of the department visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport but couldn’t question the actor as Customs officials were recording her statement.

I-T official said that Anushka Sharma will have to submit details of her income earned and taxes paid for the current as well last financial year. Considering the film has essentially two characters- Shahid and Priyanka- running through a gamut of emotions and spectrum of characters, the effort required to share a mutual passion on screen is a task," added the source.
